Each bowl is meticulously handcrafted in a small studio in the Surrey Hills using a blend of ancient and modern techniques and materials. No two pieces are the same, every piece is unique and natural markings, flecks, tiny pinholes and the occasional surface variation are all part of its story, celebrating the process of craft and the beauty of imperfection, in the spirit of Wabi Sabi. 

While we finish our products in non-toxic and food safe sealants, this product is not suitable for food use and should not be immersed in water.

Made from a formulation of lime, powdered stone, fine sand, mineral hardening compounds and natural oxides. Finished with blended metallic composites. 

While this item is coated with non-toxic, food safe and water resistant sealants it is sold as a decorative item, suitable for non foods, and is not guaranteed to be waterproof or water resistant.
